Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of InoU. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

01
The service

What InoU is. InoU keeps your days — appointments, free time, and sleep — and answers your calls with Claire, an AI assistant. Claire answers calls and text chats for you, puts some callers through to your phone, takes messages, and turns away sales calls.

What InoU is not. Claire is an AI. She can mishear or misunderstand, and a transcript or a summary can be wrong. InoU is not an emergency service. Don't rely on it where a missed call or a mistake could cause serious harm — call emergency services directly.

02
Your account

Account requirements. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person — accounts are not transferable.

Your data, your responsibility. You are responsible for what you put into InoU, including your contacts and what you tell Claire about yourself, your household, and others. You must have the right to store and process it. Laws about answering calls differ from place to place; you are responsible for using InoU lawfully where you are.

03
Our responsibilities

What we provide. We will keep your data in your own vault, make it available to you through the app, and use it only to provide the service. For details on how we use and protect your data, see our privacy policy. We will notify you of material changes to these terms or our privacy practices.

What we don't guarantee. We aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee it. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for decisions you or others make based on what Claire says, writes, or summarises.

04
Privacy and data processing

Your use of InoU is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the service, you acknowledge and agree to it.

05
Acceptable use

Don't. Don't attempt to access other users' data. Don't reverse-engineer, probe, or attack the platform. Don't use the service for anything illegal. Don't put malicious files or content into it. Don't share your login credentials. Don't resell access to the service.

If you do. We may suspend or terminate your account. In cases of illegal activity, we will cooperate with law enforcement.

06
Intellectual property

Your data is yours. You retain all rights to the information you put into InoU. We claim no ownership over your content.

The InoU platform — its software, design, branding, and documentation — is our property. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service. They do not grant you rights to our code, design, or brand.

07
Termination

You can leave anytime. Ask us to delete your account, and we delete it and everything in it. We answer within 30 days.

We can end things too. We may terminate your account for violation of these terms, with notice where possible. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice.

08
Liability

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InoU's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify InoU against claims arising from your use of the service, your data, or your violation of these terms.

09
Governing law

InoU is provided by InoU LLC, a Florida company in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Florida.

10
Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
